TENCEL® fibers come from nature and make use of photosynthesis which has, since the beginning of time, been an important mechanism in nature and the basis for life on earth. In photosynthesis the energy from the sun is absorbed by various dyestuffs, primarily green chlorophyll, and converted into chemical energy. In this respect, the starting products of carbon dioxide and water are converted into dextrose and oxygen. The more TENCEL® fibers you have, the more oxygen.
There are two kinds of fibres: natural (cotton, wool and silk),Actually Viscose seems in between but it is commonly accepted that Viscose fiber is natural.Viscose fibre is gained by the process of the special wood.
Silkworms are the offspring of moths . They spew out thread from tiny holes in their jaws, which they use to spin into their egg-bearing cocoons. This entire production takes a mere 72 hours, during which time they produce between 500 1200 silken threadsSilk is a natural protein fiber. The silk fabric is soaked in extremely cold water and bleached before dyeing to remove the natural yellow coloring of Thai silk yarn.
